THE KING'S SPEECH
Published by English Communication Practice Teacher on Sunday, February 13, 2011 0 Comments
Hi everyone!
You already know that the Oscars are coming close. One of the nominated films is The King's Speech, It's a wonderful film I encourage you to see ( amazing acting, music etc)
It's based on the true story of King George VI of Britain. He was a brave king and person who could fight no only the Germans but also his stammer.
The students in 1st have been researching a little on this, and all of you who are interested can do the same browsing the following web:
http://www.awesomestories.com/flicks/the-kings-speech/preface
You will be able to know more about the king and his age, listen to the real speech by George VI on September 3rd, 1939 and watch the trailer of the film.
I hope you enjoy it.
